Welcome to Lakeside Clay, a small home studio in Quill Lake, Saskatchewan, the little village that gave the shop its name, where every piece of jewelry is shaped, baked, and finished by hand.

My polymer clay journey started because I was always allergic to fun, affordable earrings. Metal sensitivities meant cute jewelry was often off the table for me, so when my family gave me a polymer clay starter kit for Christmas, I decided to just make my own. What began as a few earrings for myself quickly grew into something more, friends kept asking where I got them, and their encouragement is what pushed me to start selling.

What keeps me hooked is how versatile polymer clay really is. It can be sculpted, textured, marbled, and finished in endless ways, and that versatility is exactly why the shop grew beyond earrings into a wider range of one-of-a-kind accessories.

Every piece begins as a lump of raw clay and is sculpted, sanded, and glazed in small batches right here at home, no two pieces ever quite the same.

I believe jewelry should feel personal. That's why every design is one-of-a-kind, made with care and an eye for detail, and finished with hypoallergenic stainless steel hardware so it's as comfortable to wear as it is beautiful to look at.
